The APS show is scheduled for August 4-6 at the APS Auction at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. The auction will be held in 3 evening sessions consisting of 1758 lots.

The 1st session on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. will contain 501 lots with Foreign and British Commonwealth singles. It will include extensive China with better P.R.C. incl. Scott #999A "Whole Country in Red" used; France classics (many signed or with certs.); Germany with WWII Occupation of Poland 1944 General Government unissued 12gr Vienna Printing Michel #AP1, and Propaganda 1944 OSS 1944 Michel Block #1a (One of 15 known); and Great Britain.

The 2nd session on Friday at 6:00 p.m. will contain 588 Autographs and U.S. lots highlighted by Coos County (Oregon) postal history, the John Anderson Exhibit of Special Deliveries including Panama-Pacific Small Die proofs, Newspaper 1894 60¢ full o.g. with new PSE cert. (18th copy known), and Parcel Post Postage Dues "Darrah" Shanghai overprints. It is highlighted by the earliest known usage of a Government Coil; Parkhurst Vending Machine 1¢ #314V usage on a postcard, unique with a PF certificate.

The 3rd session on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. will conclude with 730 U.S. and Worldwide Collections. The U.S. "Collections & Various" of over 200 lots begins with 6 lots estimated at $10,000 to $25,000, "Postage and Modern Collections", grouping of "Back-of-the-Book", with a separate Revenue section, "Possessions", "Postal History" lots, "First Day and Cachet Maker", and "Postcards". This will be followed by 185 strong and many intact Commonwealth country collections with Great Britain, British America and Malaya & States intact country collections along with Bechuanaland, Canada & Provinces, Cape of Good Hope, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Natal, New Guinea, North Borneo, excellent Rhodesia, Sarawak, South Africa, and Zanzibar. It will be followed by 300 Foreign country and general collections highlighted by Austria, strong China with P.R.C., France with excellent Colonies, Germany & Colonies, intact Italy & Colonies with an intact Occupation and Offices collections, an intact Spain collection estimated at $18,000-20,000, and an intact Thailand collection estimated at $12,000-13,000. The auction will end with 85 Worldwide collections with a Topical section, and a Postal History section. It will end with a section of Literature
