U.S.; Arizona, Gila Bend, Circa 1870's Usage, UX3 with note on reverse headed Jan 9th Gila Bend, Arizona, note says "camped tonight at the great bend of Gila River, a Station PO", this would be a stage/express station where mail could be sent, a scarce early territorial item, Fine to Very Fine, These postal cards were seldom used after 1875 and no Post Office at Gila Bend until 1880, but there was a stage/express stop .
